Wedge Timer for iOS · Cognfy LLC

Email [email protected]. A person reads and answers every message. There is no ticket system and no bot.

It helps to include your iOS version and what you were doing when it went wrong. Settings → About → “Report a problem” in the app fills that in for you automatically.

Common questions

I can't hear the alarm

Check the Ring/Silent switch first. On iOS 26 and later Wedge uses the system alarm, which rings even on silent; on earlier versions it uses a notification, which the silent switch mutes. Also confirm you allowed notifications when the app first asked — you can turn them on in iOS Settings → Wedge → Notifications.

You can hear any alarm before you rely on it: Settings → Alarm sound, then tap one to preview.

The alarm sound is too harsh for my room

There are ten. The six under Gentle are deliberately soft for sensory-sensitive rooms — Bloom is the mildest, with a slow swell and no sharp attack.

The screen turns off mid-timer

Turn on Settings → Keep screen awake. It holds the display on only while a timer is running.

A child keeps stopping the timer

Start the timer, then tap the padlock in the top corner. The screen ignores taps until you triple-tap to unlock it.

How do I set more than 60 minutes?

The dial is one hour per full turn, matching the physical classroom timer. For longer sessions, save a preset with the duration you need.

I paid, but a new device is asking again

Settings → Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. The unlock is also Family Sharing enabled.

Where did my hidden picture go?

Pictures and backgrounds are off by default so the plain disc stays the default for classrooms. Turn one on in Settings → Appearance. When a picture is on, the disc always fills for the time you set, so it starts fully covered and finishes exactly when time is up.
